One pristine PSA GEM MT 10 quality 1916 Babe Ruth sold for $5.2 million in 2016, making it likely the most valuable baseball card of all-time based on a public auction.
While the above mentioned cards represent the true million-plus dollar blue-chip investable assets in the baseball card market, there are many other vintage and historic cards with significant values based on their historical significance and player pedigree.
