One of the most famous and valuable cards from the 1960s is the 1961 Topps Mickey Mantle card. Mint condition examples of this card regularly sell for over $100,000 making it one of the highest valued baseball cards of all time. What makes this Mantle card so desirable is that it captures one of the game’s all-time great players at the absolute peak of his prowess. With a population of around 20 cards in this grade, theirs is an incredibly short supply of truly pristine 1960s issues.
